The family tradition: For more than 20 years, three generations of our family have being coming to the farm. There is something magical about walking through the fields with a warm drink during a light snowfall that sets the Christmas ambiance for picking out the perfect tree. We have tall ceilings and always look for an 8-foot plus tree; the problem has never been finding a tree of that size, but selecting which one is the biggest and most beautiful. In 2006, I proposed to my wife by putting her engagement ring into a Christmas ornament, which I gave to her once we got our tree home. We’ve returned every year since and each year, our group expands to include more family and friends. Needless to say, the farm holds a special place in our Christmas celebration.; –The Kangas Family

Our group outing: In 2007, our neighbors invited our family to join them in their annual tree cutting tradition. Every year since the group size has grown. In the past we have always gone to get our tree at a lot or big box store so we did not know what to expect. The selection was larger and fresher than what we were used to seeing and our kids had such a great time, they start asking in early November, "When do we get to see Santa at the farm again?"; –The Foster Family

An example of superior customer service: A few years ago my husband was not able to come when we selected our tree. I wasn’t sure what to expect in taking two young kids to an open farm with a saw. The staff was very knowledgeable and courteous and directed me to which area I would find the type and size of tree I wanted. After cutting it, their staff bound the tree and safely secured the tree to our car so we could head home and enjoy it for the season.; –The Leonard Family

The executive tree: As a business owner we do a fair amount of entertaining during the holiday season. In the past we have struggled to find a large tree that “WOWed” our guests. A few years ago we started getting our tree from the farm’s Pre-Cut tree barn. They seemed to have a larger selection of high quality 8-14 foot trees than any of the other local lots. The process was simple and I was able to get in and out in a few minutes to get back home to the family.; –The Davis Family
