The Reeves Family of Mountain Creek Tree Farm invites you and your family to begin or continue your own family tradition of selecting and harvesting that “perfect” tree for your home at our family farm in Concord Ohio. Our family tradition of farming began here in 1927. We planted our first 1000 evergreen seedlings in 1949 and sold our first tree seven years later in 1956. Today we continue the family farm tradition and have over 10,000 of the finest Christmas trees. Located just above Cascade Valley, our 52-acres are some of the most beautiful rolling farmland and woodland in Northeast Ohio.
Your day at our farm begins as you park your vehicle in our graveled lot. After bundling everyone up, you head to “The Christmas Barn” where you are greeted by a member of the Reeves’ family, learn the farm layout, get your saw and tree sled, and have any questions answered before venturing into one of the five fields to find your tree. Once you have selected that “perfect” tree from one of the fields or the tree barn, you head back to The Christmas Barn. Arriving there with your tree one of our workers will then carefully clean the old needles from the tree using a tree shaker. Next, if you have purchased one of our Stand-Strait tree stands, we will drill it to ensure it will be straight and easy to stand up. Lastly, all trees are sent through our baler to be wrapped nice and compact for the trip home.
As we are getting your tree ready for the trip home, you can relax in the heated comfort of The Christmas Barn, browse through the many ornaments and decorations for sale, or enjoy hot chocolate and snacks by the fire.
